Rooms and small spaces

People often talk about how small homes, condos, and rooms are in San Francisco (and some other places in the Bay Area). Well, you can't really say that after seeing how small Japanese hotel rooms are. Note: They are very, vey, very small.

We're not strangers to small rooms, and thanks to TripAdvisor reviews, we didn't have our hopes too high either. The room we got is perfect for two people. Like my mother says about hotel rooms "you're just going there to sleep anyway!" (My mother is very frugal and in stereotypical Asian fashion, cheap)

With all that said, here's a bunch of photos of our room!

We requested a room with a kitchenette in case we decided we'd rather make something in the room. So far it's looking like that's not going to happen. Food is relatively inexpensive compared to what we're used to spending when we eat out. Plus there is also a Lawson's (a convenience store chain) at the first floor of the hotel. We grabbed a few snacks and goodies and it cost us about $7 total. Did we mention laundry? Laundry is free! We just need to buy laundry detergent and fabric softener from the front desk.
